Steve Truglia has an extensive background in the British Special Forces as a reservist with both the Territorial Army SAS and the Royal Marines Reserves SBS (Swimmer/Canoeist 3). Among many military skills gathered, he is Paramedic trained (Special Forces Patrol Medic) with extensive hospital attachment experience and is a qualified Army Physical Training Instructor. He is an Armed and Unarmed Combat instructor and an anti-ambush/counter terrorist driving instructor.
When Steve is not performing military parachute jumps from balloons, aircrafts, daytime and at night, or land and sea he enjoys many extreme sports such as Skydiving, Rock Climbing and setting a number of World Records including the first British Freediver to reach 76 meters on single breath and the fastest abseil over 100 meters!
Steve has represented both the Royal Marines and the SAS in the world renowned Devises-Westminster Canoe Race winning the trophy for the fastest forces boat.
