Sleep Over with the SAS

Sleepover with the experts

For some The Kidz Stuff Fun doesn’t need to stop. This year we are planning to create a sleepover village for families and groups to camp safely. The entertainment program will keep everyone occupied until it is time for hitting the sleeping bag. The sleepover will take place on the evening of Saturday 31st May.

Learn some neat camping and adventure  tricks from former SAS expert, stuntman and TV personality Steve Truglia. ( Steve is also an exterme sports expert and is currently planning a World Record High Altitude  Jump from the 'edge of space' ! ) From baking your own potatoes in the ground, camouflage training, astronomy lessons and navigation by the stars, making a survival shelter or playing camouflage hide and seek.

The evening will be filled with fun, live music around the camp fire, forked sticks and marshmallows.

The sleepover will be open to 100  families of up to 4 people (at least one child under 11 must be included).  A Family Ticket costs £150 , which includes access to both days of Kidz Stuff and dinner and breakfast , and can only be obtained  from the organisers. If you would like more information or to order tickets , please contact us through this site.  All food and hot beverages are included in the Ticket Price but soft drinks are extra (Alcoholic drinks will not be permitted within the camping area).  There will be toilets and limited washing facilities on the site.   Campers may leave the Festival at any time and are free to return as they please.

The camping zone will be separate from the main festival arena and organised to be, above all, safe whilst allowing as much family fun as you can possibly imagine having in a field in the middle of the night. The Camp will be within it's own secure fencing and have security personnel on duty at all times.

The Dinner Menu will be Hog Roast, Real Butcher Burgers, Salmon and a variety of salad dishes followed by Fruit Salad.  Campers will bake their own jacket potatoes in the earth!!
